GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All courses require participant's name and participant's (or parent/guardian's) valid email address to complete registration. Placement in course is not confirmed without payment of full course fee.
REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS (all courses)
You are able to cancel the registration within 1 business day of it’s submission without penalty. Otherwise the following will apply:
- A cancellation made 3 weeks or more prior to the course start date will be refunded less an administration fee of 25% of the course fees.
- A cancellation made less than 3 weeks prior to the course start date will be refunded less an administration fee of 40% of the course fees.
- A cancellation made less than 3 days prior to the course start date will not be eligible for a refund unless due to a medical reason and then will be subject to a cancellation fee of 75% of the course fees.
- "No shows" will not be eligible for any refund.
-
Multi-day courses, including day camps, must be attended in full: a participant that misses any part of any day and is unable to continue will not be eligible for any refund.
-
Participants who are removed from any course due to tardiness, inappropriate bike, inadequate skills or inappropriate behaviour will not be eligible for any refund.
Unfortunately, the above applies in cases of injury and/or emergency. Cancellation requests with little notice do not allow us the time to fill the associated spot.
TRANSFERS (all courses)
Transferring your registration to an alternate course will result in an administration fee as follows:
- A transfer request with 3 weeks or more notice will be subject to a $25 administration fee.
- A transfer request with less than 3 weeks notice will be subject to a $40 administration fee.
- A transfer request with less than 3 days notice will be subject to a $75 administration fee, with the exception of day camps, which will be subject to a $100 transfer fee.
- No transfer requests for First Time or Beginner courses will be possible once course confirmation has been sent. Course cancellation fees as above will apply.
Full payment of the administration fee will be required before registration in the alternate course will be confirmed. In the event a suitable course is not offered, the above cancellation fees will be applied.
WEATHER: FIRST TIME AND BEGINNER COURSES
Outdoor First Time courses (adult or child) and Beginner courses are weather dependent; a weather cancellation may occur. In the event of a weather cancellation, your registration fee will be transferred, at no cost, to an available later date of your choosing or fully refunded if no alternate date can be arranged. Determination of the appropriateness of the weather (course confirmation) will be made by the instructor, no earlier than 36 hours prior to the start time. You will receive an email no less than 24 hours prior to the course with more information. We can not be held responsible for the weather and offer no guarantee even after course is confirmed.
Cancellations or transfer requests for confirmed courses will be subject to the above cancellation/transfer policy.

DROP OFF AND PICK-UP POLICY (all Intermediate Child courses)
Participants must be dropped off and picked up by an adult each day. For the security of your child, all individuals picking up participants will be required to show photo ID every day and must be listed on the registration form.
Please allow additional time for drop off and pick up on the first two sessions of the course, as we may need to review your child’s equipment or skills with you. If you are 15 minutes or more late when picking up your child, a $25 late charge will apply, which must be paid before the beginning of the next session. More than one outstanding late fee may result in your child being removed from the course without possibility of refund.

EQUIPMENT FAILURE OR INJURY (all Intermediate Child courses)
In the event of an equipment failure that cannot be repaired and/or a non-emergency injury which results in your child being unable to continue, you will be contacted to pick up your child. We expect prompt pick-up as the group may not be able to continue until your child is picked up.
A pro-rated/partial refund for the remainder of the course may be offered, at our discretion, and is not obligatory.
