Intermediate Kids (Saturdays May-June)
This course is a series of 5 sessions, all MUST be attended as follows:
- Sat May 3 9am-12pm
- Sat May 10 9am-12pm
- Sat May 24 9am-12pm
- Sat May 31 9am-12pm
- Sat June 7 9am-12pm
Course is limited to 6 participants; all participants must provide their own properly fitting bike in good working order (gears recommended) and a certified bike helmet.
In order to attend this course, participants must have the following cycling abilities:
- Start independently
- Balance and pedal for at least 50m
- Stop using the brakes on the bike (coaster or hand brakes are acceptable)
- Turn left and right
- Ride with right hand only (left hand off the handlebar) for 3 seconds.
Participants are recommended to attend a pre-course bike & skills evaluation.
We reserve the right to remove a participant from the course if their bike fit is improper, their skills are inadequate and/or their behaviour endangers themselves or other participants. No fee refund will be available.
Before and after care is not available for this course.

The Haysboro Community Association is located at 1204 89 Ave SW, near Elbow Drive & Heritage Drive SW. There is a large parking lot, and ample street parking. It can also be accessed by transit, with bus stops on Heritage and Elbow Drives as well as the Heritage LRT station a short distance away.
