Intermediate Child (Fridays 2:30-5:30pm)

Intermediate Kids (Fridays May-June)

This course is a series of 5 sessions, all MUST be attended as follows:

• Fri May 2 2:30-5:30pm
• Fri May 9 2:30-5:30pm
• Fri May 23 2:30-5:30pm
• Fri May 30 2:30-5:30pm
• Fri June 6 2:30-5:30pm

Course is limited to 6 participants; all participants must provide their own properly fitting bike in good working order (gears recommended) and a certified bike helmet. 

In order to attend this course, participants must have the following cycling abilities:

• Start independently
• Balance and pedal for at least 50m
• Stop using the brakes on the bike (coaster or hand brakes are acceptable)
• Turn left and right
• Ride with right hand only (left hand off the handlebar) for 3 seconds.

Participants are recommended to attend a pre-course bike & skills evaluation. 

We reserve the right to remove a participant from the course if their bike fit is improper, their skills are inadequate and/or their behaviour endangers themselves or other participants.  No fee refund will be available.

Before Course Care Add-On: Instructor will meet your child at Woodman school dismissal & bike together to the course location. Please contact if your child is not a Woodman student, but you need before course care. 

After Course Care Add-On: available from course end to 6:30pm.
